 Alan H. Silverberg
Alan H. Silverberg graduated from American University in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore in 1970. After several years of travel, he became licensed to practice law by the Maryland Court of Appeals in 1973, and licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in 1978.
From 1974 until joining the law firm in 1982, Mr. Silverberg served as an Assistant Public Defender in Baltimore City, practicing before the Circuit Court, District Court and Juvenile Court, as well as providing representation to those involuntarily admitted to state and private mental health facilities. Since beginning his private practice, he has applied his experienced litigation skills to represent thousands of clients in the areas of family law, complex business and estate litigation, and to successfully recover millions of dollars for those wrongfully injured both in and out of the workplace.
Mr. Silverberg has represented clients and litigated cases in Baltimore City and surrounding counties, including Baltimore, Carroll, Howard, Anne Arundel, Harford, Prince Georges, Montgomery and Somerset Counties, as well as the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He maintains a membership in the Maryland State Bar Association, Baltimore County Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America and Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Silverberg provides patience and understanding for the difficult legal situations confronting his clients, and the skill, focus and passion to obtain the needed results, whether by way of negotiation or litigation. He is married and resides in Baltimore County with his wife and daughter, currently in her junior year at Rider University in New Jersey. Aside from the law, his passions include running (a 37 year history, with four marathons, including Boston, to his credit), skiing in Colorado, the Ravens, movies and spending time at the beach. |
